The Porter’s Log staff and writers would like to issue an apology in relation to the recent article concerning the Cambridge Union.
We would like to apologise for attacking the integrity of Union officials when it is clear no such integrity exists in the first place. We would also like to apologise for insinuating that the Union is full of grasping self-aggrandising knobheads when the reality is that most of the committee is actually far far worse than this. We would also like to retract the inaccurate statement made last week in which we wrongly claimed that the membership fee represented decent value for money. Please accept our sincerest apologies for this grave oversight.
